Stay Fresh Technology is proud to be an American company based in Los Angeles, California. Founded by engineer and U.S. patent holder Dr. Tonghu Jiang, our mission is simple: to provide dependable, high-quality freeze drying solutions that are both affordable and built to last — right here in the USA.

All Stay Fresh freeze dryers are designed, engineered, and tested in our Southern California facility. We’re committed to delivering a product that reflects American innovation, craftsmanship, and integrity.

Our journey began in 2018 when we recognized a serious gap in the market. Commercial freeze dryers were out of reach for most families and small businesses, while existing home models left much to be desired. We believed there had to be a better option — something more durable, efficient, and affordable. So, we rolled up our sleeves and built one ourselves.

After years of hands-on research and development — including extensive testing in our home garage — we developed a powerful, compact freeze dryer designed for both home and small business use. This work led to the award of U.S. Utility Patent No. 11,287,185 B1 in 2022 for our proprietary freeze drying algorithm and automation method.

Our founder, Dr. Tonghu Jiang, holds a PhD in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and previously conducted research in lithium-ion battery technology. Though he spent time in the financial sector, his heart has always been in engineering and invention — a passion that now powers every Stay Fresh product.
